WeatherMaster ViewFlex vinyl is a durable and resilient material designed to resist UV damage. While maintenance is minimal, it’s important to clean your windows at least twice a year using a nonabrasive, ammonia free, chemical free cleaner. Using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials may void your warranty.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

We strongly recommend using Sunspace vinyl cleaner, though mild soap and water are also acceptable alternatives. Avoid products containing abrasives, ammonia, or other chemicals, as they may damage the vinyl.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Begin by removing each window panel for better access. Start with the bottom vent, moving the panel up or down to release the interlock from the adjacent panel. Hold the top of the panel with your right hand, then use both hands to slide it to the left and swing it outward from the right side of the window frame.

Vacuum the window frame to remove any leaves, dust or dirt.

Wipe away any remaining dirt, then use your cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth to gently clean each frame and panel.

Spray a small amount of cleaning solution on each side of the vertical tracks and wipe with the cotton cloth to clean.

Reverse Step 1 and reinstall each window panel, snapping them back into position. Begin with the panel nearest the screen, making sure to overlap each subsequent panel as you go.

Note: It’s best to clean your windows on a warm, dry day. If it’s too warm, they may dry too quickly, leaving soap streaks on the panels. Have questions? Give us a call. We are happy to help!
